Four roles

CEO / Owner
You set the permission structure. If you treat the first automation as a pilot to be approved, the whole program bogs down. Your job is to remove obstacles and redirect the time explicitly.
Function Leader
You are the person the book is written for. You own a function, you are accountable for the number it produces, and you have to figure out what AI actually means in your specific department.
Individual Contributor
You are the person who builds the first automation and becomes the internal expert who teaches everyone else. Your domain knowledge is the most important input into the first prompt.
Independent Professional
You are the firm. There is no committee to approve the first automation, no steering group to wait for. You build it this week or you do not build it.
